Top Puzzle Games Performance in the Middle East: Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the Middle East saw significant activity in the puzzle game category across a unified platform. Data from Sensor Tower reveals intriguing trends in downloads, revenue, and active users for the top games in this category.

Color Block Jam from Rollic Games maintained a robust presence with weekly downloads peaking at 74K in mid-September. The game’s weekly revenue reached around $75K at the end of July, and its active user base remained strong, fluctuating between 297K and 339K throughout the quarter.

Screwdom, developed by Zego Global Pte Ltd, experienced steady weekly revenue, peaking at $48K in late July. Downloads saw a gradual decline, starting at 18K in mid-July and dropping to 5.6K by the end of September. However, its weekly active users remained relatively consistent, hovering around 104K.

Angry Birds 2, a classic from Rovio Entertainment, showed a notable increase in weekly downloads, reaching 37K in mid-July. Revenue, however, saw a decline, starting at $18K in late July and ending the quarter at $8.6K. Active users decreased from 144K to 114K over the quarter.

Kahoot! Play & Create Quizzes by Kahoot ASA saw a significant rise in downloads, peaking at 17.7K in mid-September. Revenue showed a positive trend, ending the quarter at approximately $10.9K. Meanwhile, active users increased, reaching 47.9K by late September.

Knit Out, also from Rollic Games, saw its weekly revenue peak at $9.3K in early September. Downloads initially rose to 9.1K in early August before decreasing to 2K by the end of the quarter. Active users peaked at 21.1K in mid-August but declined to 13.5K by late September.
